Beard Construction Group was awarded the site preparation for a new solid fuel 600 MW generating unit to be located on a 50 acre site at Cleco's Rodemacher Power Station. The scope of work included site preparation, parking, lay-down area, conveyor access route, barge unloading facility and the storm water drainage system. The project has been published in Construction Executive magazine as one of "2007's Notable Projects”.
