Shintech Louisiana, LLC awarded Beard Construction Group the $4.36 million contract for site development at the new Shintech manufacturing facility located on an 80 acre site in Plaquemine, LA. The scope of work includes site clearing and grubbing, demolition, erosion control, stripping, cut/fill grading, firewater loop installation, site drainage, stabilization, and stone road installation. Beard was awarded an additional $3.8 million for activities which included backfilling the rainwater reservoir, building new roads with associated drainage piping, new concrete pump pit, underground piping and new firewater piping.
