General Growth Properties, a Chicago-based company, completed construction on a $70 million expansion at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge, LA. One of the first contracts let was to Beard Construction Group to perform the site work for a 15-screen movie theater. In addition to the movie theater, the expansion included 11 upscale stores and four restaurants. Additional contracts awarded to Beard included the construction of a left turning lane to the Bluebonnet exit off of Interstate 10. This included adding new signs and performing landscaping for the previously completed projects. |
